It was supposed to be a small espresso bar. Three friends opened a small place in Al-Nuzha where people could hang out over coffee and browse strange, beautiful things.

By the second month, customers were asking where we got the cups. By the fourth, we were importing more than we could keep. What we noticed was simple: the same people who came for coffee asked about the strange notebook on the counter. The vintage matchboxes. The brass coin we kept in a small dish.

So we started carrying them. First on a single shelf. Then a wall. Now an online catalogue of pieces that took us years to find. We still sell coffee. We still curate slowly.
